Week 7: Scary Cat

This week class activity something like last class activity. We required to draw something about cat and also have to draw a scary object using the cat’s characteristics without showing the cat. The element must have to be indirect.

So this is what I’ve drawn:

Week 6: Anology

Class Activity: In this week our lecture asked us to choose two digit numbers and matched two digit numbers with two words from the column below:-

My number is 15,12,05

So, i get the word from my number:-
Flower Root
Flower Rock
Fly Root

After that, we should create a sentences from that word:-

1) The flower life from their root
2) Orchid's flower always need rock and charcoal to grows up
3) Artist and normal people life is like bird's fly and a root of tree

From this sentences, we create the image..

This week also, our class activities is write a short statement/poem that describe the concept of ‘LOVE’, ‘LIFE’, and ‘MAN or WOMAN’ to each picture.

Chillie
Concept : Love

Love is like a chillies. Although it's taste hot and spice but people still like to eat it..

Ice cream
Concept: Pain

Broken heart is like eating ice cream. although it seem like delicious to taste, but when we taste it, it will make our tooth pain

Week 5: Juxtaposition

for me,honestly.it's a new word i learn in class so back from class while i was on the net doing things i normally do.the word pop-up so i decided to google it what not

1. an act or instance of placing close together or side by side, esp. for comparison or contrast.
2. the state of being close together or side by side.

sources :http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/juxtaposition

For my undestanding, juxtapostion is really usefull for creating any images or idea in developing something.

Week 4: Mind Mapping

A mind map is a diagram used to represent words, ideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged around a central key word or idea. Mind maps are used to generate, visualize, structure, and classify ideas, and as an aid to studying and organizing information, solving problems, making decisions, and writing.

The elements of a given mind map are arranged intuitively according to the importance of the concepts, and are classified into groupings, branches, or areas, with the goal of representing semantic or other connections between portions of information. Mind maps may also aid recall of existing memories.

By presenting ideas in a radial, graphical, non-linear manner, mind maps encourage a brainstorming approach to planning and organizational tasks. Though the branches of a mindmap represent hierarchical tree structures, their radial arrangement disrupts the prioritizing of concepts typically associated with hierarchies presented with more linear visual cues. This orientation towards brainstorming encourages users to enumerate and connect concepts without a tendency to begin within a particular conceptual framework.

The mind map can be contrasted with the similar idea of concept mapping. The former is based on radial hierarchies and tree structures denoting relationships with a central governing concept, whereas concept maps are based on connections between concepts in more diverse patterns.

-Mind maps are, by definition, a graphical method of taking notes.

creator of mind map:tony buzan
Tony Buzan (born 2 June 1942, English pronunciation: /ˈbuːzn̩/) is an author and educational consultant. He is a proponent of the techniques of Mind Mapping[1] and mental literacy. He claims to have worked with "corporate entities and businesses all over the world; academics; Olympic athletes; children of all ages; governments; and high profile individuals, in teaching them how to maximize the use of their brain power."[2]

Mind maps can be used for:

* problem solving
* outline/framework design
* anonymous collaboration
* marriage of words and visuals
* individual expression of creativity
* condensing material into a concise and memorable format
* team building or synergy creating activity
* enhancing work morale

power of mind map
-superior note taking method because it does not lead to a "semi-hypnotic trance" state
-mind map uses the full range of left and right human cortical skills
-balances the brain
